Workshop and cultural exchange between Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

To promote exchanges and seek cooperation opportunities with organizations around the world, on October 16, 2018, VNUF held a workshop and cultural exchange between VNUF and FAO.

Attending the meeting were Asso.Prof.Dr. Tran Quang Bao - Vice President; Asso.Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Sam - Director of International Cooperation Division; Leaders of related units, foreign experts working at the University, Students' Association and different clubs.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has Mr. Albert T. Lieberg - FAO representative in Viet Nam, and officials.

In recent years, the promotion of exchanges and seeking international cooperation opportunities has always been one of strategic orientations for the University. The University has consistently maintained and established cooperative relationships with universities and international organizations in many countries around the world. It contributes significantly to training and scientific research activities of the university.

Professional discussion

Representatives from the two universities agreed to continue to increase information exchange and discussion to have more specific co-operation activities in the areas of mutual interest.

In the program content, FAO delegates had a cultural exchange with lecturers and students of the University.

The exchange attracted the participation of many students from the International Master's Program in Forestry and University students.

The workshop and cultural exchange have ended successfully, opening up great prospects for cooperation opportunities between the VNUF and FAO in the future.
