Implementing the post-graduate training program, on November 3, 2018, Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) held a master's thesis defense ceremony for students of International Master Program in Tropical Forestry.

Attending the defense are members of 15 comittees including lecturers, experts and scientists in the field of forestry. All comittees' members are teaching for the Master's program.

In order to successfully complete a master's thesis, master students have spent two years studying theoretical and practical trainings, spending a lot of time for doing science, analyzing data and finishing the thesis. All students have received enthusiastic help from many supervisors; lecturers in the university.

At the committee, after listening to presentations of students, the committee's members gave many comments on contents and forms of the thesis, asked questions and assessed professional knowledge, practical knowledge of the students.

About the thesis's quality, the committee shows that all theses are good, creative and have good scientific presentations, meaningfull to science and practice. Students have made great efforts in completing the thesis, applying their knowledge to the analyzing and proposing solutions to the problems of the subject.

The members appreciate the scientific and practical significance of each topic. Data are collected scientifically and are calculated, analyzed and synthesized in details and correctly.

After serious work the committee will evaluate and give marks for students. Graduate Study Division will finish reports for successful theses. They will submit them to the President of VNUF to admit the completion of the master program for the students.
