On the morning of August 22, 2019, Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) had a meeting with experts from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.

Attending the meeting was Asso.Prof.Dr. Bui The Doi - Vice President, Asso.Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Sam - Director of International Cooperation Division, Asso.Prof.Dr. Pham Minh Toai - Director of Academic Affairs Division, Asso.Prof.Dr. Phung Van Khoa - Dean of Faculty of Forest Resources and Environmental Management, together with a number of staffs and lecturers. On the side of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, there was Prof. Rosario Garcia - Vice Dean of Forestry Faculty, Dr. Louise Tetting - 
International cooperation assistant.

At the meeting, after listening to an overview of the two Universities, the two sides exchanged some cooperation programs in training, scientific research, and exchange of lecturers and students and other areas of cooperation which are concerned. Especially, the two sides have spent a lot of time discussing cooperation programs on scientific research and student exchange between the two Universities. The two sides also agreed to extend the cooperation memorandum in the future.

Professional discussion

At the end of the working program, the two sides expressed their wish to have more specific cooperation programs and strengthen cooperation between the two sides more deeply and comprehensively.
