Meeting with Murdoch University, Australia

On March 22^nd 2018, a delegation of Murdoch University including Prof. Richard J. Harper – Acting Dean, School of Veterinary and Life Sciences and Prof. Bernard Dell – Research Director, Vice Chancellery had a meeting at Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF).

Attending the meeting, from VNUF sides, there were Assoc. Prof. Bui The Doi (Vice President), Assoc.Prof. Hoang Van Sam – director of International Cooperation Division, Assoc.Prof. Vu Quang Nam - Vice Director of Forestry Biotechnology college, Dr. Tran Viet Ha - Vice dean of Forestry Faculty, Dr. Bui Manh Hung - International Cooperation devision.

At the meeting, the both sides agreed to cooperate on research and training: For research will focus on the following topic: climate change, natural resources management, increasing the livelihoods of local people, community forest engagement, plantation, gene modification, medicine plants, improvement poor soil and controlling invasive species.

Both sides also principal  agree to jointly develop master and PhD programs, co- supevise students and joint organize conference.
