Regarding to VNUF, the meeting has been attended by Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Sam (Head of International Cooperation Division), Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha (Vice Head of International Cooperation Division), Dr. Le Xuan Truong (Dean of Forestry College). Regarding to The Unversity of Melbourne, there were Prof. Rod Keenen (Director of the Center for Climate Change Research) and Dr. Huynh Thu Ba (University Lecturer).

During the meeting, the two universities have discussed on the cooperation in training, exchange students and lecturers and human resources improvements. Specifically, in the coming time, the two parties will focus on developing joint research projects on silviculture, intensive forestation, forest product processing, forestry policy, environmental protection, climate change and REDD + …

At the end of the working session, both sides would like to sign an International Memorandum of Understanding (IMOU) in the near future to strengthen the cooperation between the two universities.
