Academic exchange with foreign expert

In order to strengthen the international exchange and cooperation of Vietnam National University of Forestry, and enrich the lives of the students, the International Cooperation Division invited Dr. Moira Zuazo - Freie Berlin University, Germany, and Dr. Dirk Hoffmann – Expert of GIZ  to visit the Vietnam National University of Forestry from 02 to 04 January 2018.

The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui The Doi - Vice President of VNUF, students of international master program in forestry, students of K59, K60 – Advanced Program, and staff of VNUF.

In the academic exchange, Dr. Moira Zuazo and Dr. Dirk Hoffmann gave a lecture with topic: Social Ecosystem - Sustainable Development Goals. Experts introduced an overview of the basic concepts of social ecology, crisis issues and recent social change related to the definition of goals for sustainable development, especially resources natural sustainable management in harmony with the social ecology of developing countries.

After listening to comments and suggestions exchange, experts and students exchanged the issue given by Dr. Moira Zuazo and Dr. By Dirk Hoffmann. Lecturers and students participated in group discussions about the crisis issues, as well as ideas for the future.

On behalf of the Vietnam National University of Forestry, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui The Doi extended a special thanks to the experts and he hoped that the experts would continue to contribute to make this operation successful and effective, and The International Exchange Division will continue to strengthen communication with other experts in order to organize similar activities. These kinds of activities will both strengthen students' comprehensive English abilities and enable them to understand English-only education; all of which will create a greater sense of an international education atmosphere for Vietnam National University of Forestry.
