In the morning of September 7, 2018, Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) had a meeting with a delegation of Southwest Forestry University, China led by Ms. Lihong Jiang - Party committee secretary of the Foreign Language Academy.

Attendting the meeting, including Asso.Prof.Dr. Bui The Doi - Vice president; Leaders, staff and lecturers of International Cooperation Division (ICD), Faculty of Forest Resources and Environmental Management (FREM), Wood Industry college (WIC)), College of Landscape Architecture and Interior Design (CLAID).

At the meeting, after listing to strengths in training, international cooperation, scientific research of two universities. The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in training and postgraduate training, exchange of lecturers and students… Ms. Lihong Jiang is currently offering scholarships such as Confucius Institute Scholarships, Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarships, Southwest Forestry University Scholarships for students and lecturers. She hopes to welcome students, staff and lecturers to study and research at Southwest Forestry University.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to cooperate and sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the future.
