Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between Vietnam National University of Forestry and Naju College, South Korea Signed

Representing VNUF were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Toai – Vice President; Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Sam – Director of the International Cooperation Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Hien Mai – Vice Director of the Academic Affairs Division; and Dr. Pham Gia Thanh – Vice Director of the Politics and Student Affairs Division.

At the meeting, both parties presented overviews of their training systems, academic strengths, and development orientations. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Toai and Dr. Yun Young Seok both emphasized the significance of the cooperative event and expressed hope for a sustainable and long-term relationship between the two institutions. Vice President Pham Minh Toai emphasized that VNUF always prioritizes the development of students' language skills as a crucial foundation for academic collaboration and international integration.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Sam – Director of the International Cooperation Division – also shared insights from VNUF's recent working trip to Korea under the ASEAN – Korea Garden Project, stressing that VNUF considers South Korea one of its key strategic partners in its long-term international cooperation strategy. He also expressed the desire to collaborate with Naju College in student exchange programs, particularly for VNUF students to study and intern at Naju College.

Both sides agreed on various cooperation activities, including lecturer and student exchanges, internship opportunities for VNUF students in Korea, and collaboration in Korean language education.

In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thu Loan – Director of GK Study Abroad – shared that the company is coordinating with VNUF to establish a Korean Language Club to offer Korean language courses for students, with over 80 students already registered. She also proposed that Naju College directly support these meaningful activities for VNUF students.

The two parties signed the MoU, marking an important milestone in the cooperation between Vietnam National University of Forestry and Naju College, Korea.
