On the morning of March 26, 2025, Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF), in collaboration with ActionAid International in Vietnam and the Aid for Social Protection Program Foundation Vietnam (AFV), organized the event “Walk for People and the Planet.” The event attracted the participation of more than 1,200 students, pupils, lecturers, experts, and managers from various domestic and international organizations.

On the occasion of the International Day of Forests, the Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Vietnam, the Department of Forestry and Forest Protection, and the Forest Projects Management Board, organized a forum on the theme “Forests and Food Security” on March 21, 2025. The event brought together experts, policymakers, scientists, and representatives from national and international organizations.

On February 21, 2025, at Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF), President Pham Van Dien held a cordial meeting with students preparing for exchange programs, studies, and internships abroad, along with international experts and students currently studying and working at the university.

With the desire to connect the university with alumni who have studied at VNUF and are currently living and working in Lao Cai province; contributing to promoting noble traditions and values, aiming towards the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF). On the morning of January 13, 2024, in Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province, the program "Meeting with the VNUF Alumni Association of Lao Cai" took place.

On Dec 1st, 2021, Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) met Laotian students who are studying at the University on the occasion of the 46th Anniversary of the National Day (02/12/1975 – 02/12/2021) of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).

In the framework of project: “European-Vietnamese Higher Education Network for Sustainable Forest- and Bio-Economy (BioEcoN)”. Vietnam National University of Forestry attended the second of three BioEcoN “summer schools” held at the University of Valladolid, Spain from 02 to 15 February 2020.

Ngày 04/11/2019, Trường Đại học Lâm nghiệp đã tổ chức lễ bảo vệ Khóa luận tốt nghiệp cho 29 sinh viên Chương trình tiên tiến Ngành Quản lý tài nguyên thiên nhiên năm 2019.

On September 16th 2019, the Summer Training Course “Sustainable Forest Management and Bio- Economy” in the ERASMUS programme: “European - Vietnamese Higher Education Network for Sustainable Forest and Bio-economy” co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission (EC) was hosted by Vietnam National University of Forestry.

Afternoon 07/12/2018, Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) has solemnly held the Graduation ceremony for graduate students of the international master program in forestry, course 24B, 2016-2018.
