On the morning of July 4, 2024, Vietnam National University of Forestry and Meiho University, Taiwan (China) held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation in education, research, and other activities, aiming towards the internationalization of education. Vietnam National University of Forestry has collaborated with University of South Wales, UK to organize a training course on "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Natural Resource Management" from May 29 to June 4 2024. On May 20, 2024, Vietnam National University of Forestry welcomed and worked with the director of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Vietnam. On the afternoon of April 10, 2024, Nanjing Forestry University, China (NJFU) had a visit and working session at Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) to further promote the cooperation program between the two universities in the upcoming time. 
On September 1, 2023, after a week of implementing the training program, the Summer School 2023 on "Future-Oriented Chemistry (FOREST)" under the ERASMUS+ FOREST project funded by the European Commission officially concluded. Vietnam National University of Forestry organized the Closing Ceremony and awarded certificates to students who completed the training course. Students from 04 universities including Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF), Thai Nguyen University of Science (TNUS), Hue University of Science (HUSC), and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) have completed the short-term training course within one dynamic week of study at VNUF.
