The FOREST project is an abbreviation of Future Oriented Chemistry, which is an Erasmus+ project to develop a new master’s program in the field of Chemistry in which the Vietnam National University of Forestry is a member of the project implementation starting from 2021 to 2025. The project is part of the European Commission-funded Capacity Building for Higher Education Institutions programme called Erasmus+ CBHE.
In the afternoon of 02/8/2023, the Lao PDR delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs H.E. Nisith KEOPANYA visited and worked at the Vietnam National University of Forestry to learn and share experiences on the transformation of public non-business units with revenues to financial autonomy and management of officials.
At the invitation of leaders of the Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development (HNEE), Federal Republic of Germany, the delegation of Vietnam National University of Forestry was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr Phung Van Khoa – Vice President and Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Sam – Director of International Cooperation Division visited and worked with the Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development, from June 2 to 10, 2023.
In the afternoon of June 8, 2023, Professor John Xiaogang Shi, Deputy Director of Research, School of Interdisciplinary Studies, Program Director for MSc Environmental Science, University of Glasgow, UK came to work at Vietnam National University of Forestry to exchange the cooperation potentials in research and training between the two universities
In the afternoon of 25 May 2023, the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam visited Vietnam National University of Forestry to discuss the results of bilateral cooperation.
On the afternoon of April 19, 2023, the Vietnam National University of Forestry welcomed and worked with a representative of the United States Forest Service (USFS) on cooperation in developing potential projects in the field of forestry.
