Working with delegation from the University of Glasgow, UK

Located in Scotland's largest city, it is in the top 100 universities in the world and currently has around 28,500 students from over 120 different countries studying. Glasgow is also a member of the Russell Group of prestigious UK research universities.
On the side of the Vietnam National University of Forestry there are: Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dien, President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Xuan Phuong, Vice Director of International Cooperation Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dong Thanh Hai, Director of Post-Graduate Study Division, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Xuan Truong, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Dung, Head of Department of Environmental Management, Faculty of Forest Resources and Environmental Management.
At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dien expressed his pleasure and welcomed Prof. John to visit and work at Vietnam National University of Forestry. He also believes that today's meeting will open many potential cooperation opportunities in teaching and researching that the two universities can cooperate.
On behalf of the University of Glasgow, UK, Prof. John would like to express his sincere thanks for the warm welcome of Vietnam National University of Forestry. Through the introduction of outstanding information from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Xuan Phuong about the history of establishment, training programs, teaching and researching activities of the University, Prof. John highly appreciated the potential of Vietnam National University of Forestry, the leading university in Vietnam in training high-quality human resources for the forestry sector.
The meeting took place in an open atmosphere with many questions raised for discussion, especially focusing on the experience of organizing the management of joint degree programs between the University of Glasgow and other universities around the world. In addition, many issues related to the research on forest hydrology and climate change were also discussed and shared between Prof. John and experts from Vietnam National University of Forestry.
The meeting ended up with many potential cooperation directions between the two universities in the coming time, promising to bring many learning and researching opportunities to lecturers and students of VNUF.
