VNUF Celebrating Lao Bunpimay Traditional New Year

Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Toai – Vice President of VNUF, along with leaders of various faculties, institutes, departments, centers, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the Vietnam Student Association at VNUF. Most importantly, the gathering was graced by the cheerful presence of the Lao students.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Toai extended his warmest New Year wishes to all Lao students on the occasion of Bunpimay. He emphasized that Lao students are an indispensable part of the university's extended family. The university leadership appreciates the contributions of Lao students to the school's activities, which enrich cultural diversity and promote solidarity within the student community. On behalf of the university staff and students, Vice President Pham Minh Toai wished the Lao students good health and academic success in the new year, and expressed hope for the everlasting friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

In response to the university's heartfelt affection, the Lao students expressed their deep gratitude for the care and support they have received throughout their studies and life in Vietnam. "We feel truly warm and happy to celebrate Bunpimay at our shared home – Vietnam National University of Forestry. The attention and kind wishes from the university leadership have motivated us to study even harder," shared Keovilay Chanthalaphone, a Lao student.
The Bunpimay celebration at VNUF brought joy and warmth to Lao students and further strengthened the traditional friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos. It also demonstrated the university's strong commitment to the holistic development of its international students, affirming VNUF's friendly, inclusive, and internationalized learning environment.
