Strengthening international exchanges and exchanges is one of the important factors contributing to improving the prestige and position of Vietnam National University of Forestry in the region and in the world. In recent years, Vietnam National University of Forestry has organized student exchanges with many countries such as Germany, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Canada, Laos, Myanmar, China, India, etc.

In the atmosphere to welcome Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024, in the evening of December 18, 2023, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and the Student Union of Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) and clubs, organized the program "Vietnam-International Student Cultural Exchange". The program has created a useful exchange and learning playground for Vietnamese and international students, contributing to creating an atmosphere of learning competition among students at the University in general and international students in particular.

In addition, after a month of study and experience at Vietnam National University of Forestry, in the morning of 19/12/2023, the University held the closing ceremony of the international student exchange program from Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences (KSNUAHS), India. The 15 Indian students participating in the exchange program all learned and gained a lot of knowledge and experience at the leading University of Forestry in Vietnam.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Sam, Director of International Cooperation Division summarized the activities of the program. With the teaching participation of more than 30 lecturers and scientists belonging to: Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Forest Resources and Environment Management, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, College of Wood Industry and Interior Design, Faculty of Electromechanics and civil engineering, College of Forestry Biotechnology, College of Land Management and Rural Development. The program has brought to Indian students a lot of up-to-date information and knowledge about professional training fields at Vietnam National University of Forestry. Not only learning and experiencing in the university, but students also get practical experience in many famous locations of Vietnam.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Toai, Vice President, Vietnam National University of Forestry highly appreciated the enthusiastic participation in the teaching process of the lecturers of Vietnam National University of Forestry, as well as the high concentration during the study time of students from Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences (KSNUAHS).
