Meeting between the university President and Students Preparing for Overseas Studies and Internships, International Experts and Students

The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Toai – Vice President; representatives from the Division of Academic Affairs, Division of Political and Student Affairs, Faculty of Forest Resources and Environmental Management, College of Landscape Architecture and Urban Greening, and the College of Wood Industry and Interior Design. Also present were all students preparing for international exchange and internships, foreign experts, and international students studying and working at the university.

In his remarks, President Pham Van Dien emphasized VNUF's strong commitment to international cooperation in education. He highlighted the significance of student exchange and international internship programs in enhancing professional knowledge, skills, and global perspectives while creating valuable career opportunities. Over the years, hundreds of VNUF students have received prestigious scholarships to study, intern, and conduct research in Canada, Sweden, the United States, Germany, France, China, Japan, South Korea, and beyond. These programs provide invaluable opportunities for students to access advanced education systems, gain practical experience, and engage in cultural exchange on a global scale.

Alongside sending students abroad, VNUF also welcomes numerous international experts, researchers, and students for study and research activities. Each year, the university hosts over 150 international faculty members, experts, and students. Currently, VNUF has visiting experts from the United States and students from Russia, China, Finland, Spain, and Laos participating in short-term and long-term academic programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

During the meeting, international experts and students expressed their appreciation for the university's dedicated support and commended VNUF's professional and welcoming academic environment. They also highly valued the university's effective research collaborations and international partnerships.

President Pham Van Dien reaffirmed VNUF's commitment to expanding international cooperation programs, creating more study opportunities for students at prestigious universities and research institutions worldwide. At the same time, the university will continue to provide maximum support for international students and experts to study and work at VNUF.

The meeting took place in a warm and open atmosphere, reflecting the university's strong commitment to international collaboration and student development in an increasingly globalized world. This gathering not only fostered meaningful exchanges between students and international experts but also reinforced VNUF's dedication to global integration and academic excellence.
