The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui The Doi – Vice President of VNUF. On behalf of SWFU, the delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. He Xiahong – Vice President, Ms. Qin Yunfan – Director of the International Cooperation Department, and leaders of the faculties and institutes of Forestry, Landscape Architecture, Economics and Management, Land and Water Resources Management, Materials Science, Social Sciences, and Law.

In her remarks, Prof. Dr. He Xiahong highly appreciated the strong relationship and fruitful cooperation between the two universities. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui The Doi expressed gratitude for the effective support and collaboration and hoped to further strengthen the partnership in the coming years.

Representing the International Cooperation Division, Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Sam (VNUF) and Ms. Qin Yunfan (SWFU) presented a report on the achievements of the cooperation between the two universities and outlined directions for future collaboration. During the meeting, both sides discussed key areas of cooperation, including: Joint training programs; Faculty and student exchange programs; Collaborative research projects; Establishing a Chinese language training center

The leadership of both universities agreed to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, further deepening the friendship between the two institutions and between Vietnam and China.

Later on February 28, the VNUF delegation met with its faculty members and students currently studying at SWFU. Over the past two years, more than 30 VNUF faculty members and students have participated in training and academic programs at SWFU, highlighting the growing academic exchange between the two universities.
