In the morning of October 5, 2018, Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) had a seminar with experts from Murdoch University, Australia.

Attendance includes Prof.Dr. Bernard Dell - Director of Research and Development Program, Prof. Dr. Paul Barber - Expert from Murdoch University, Australia. Leaders and staff of International Cooperation Division, Faculty of Forest Resources and Invironmental Management, Faculty of Silviculture and Mr. Zuklin Tomas - Specialist for international cooperation, Czech Republic, is currently working at the University. Advanced program students, international graduate students.

At the seminar, Prof.Dr. Paul Barber has a presentation on Application of remote sensing in plant management. Prof. Dr. Paul Barber spent time to answer many questions from students involved in application of remote sensing in plant management.

At the end, Prof.Dr. Bernard Dell and Prof. Dr. Paul Barber had a meeting with staff and lecturers of the University to promote the cooperation between the two universities, emphasizing in organizing international seminars, doctoral and master training. There are a number of cooperation plans in the coming time about climate change, forest water management, and payments for forest environmental services…

At the end of the meeting, the two sides expressed their hope that in the near future, the two universities will take concrete steps to cooperate in training, scientific research and fields of mutual interest.
